From vicious fairy tales to romantic adventures, here's a taste of the current projects that I'm excited to be writing and illustrating.

Dutiful daughters do not enter the Wishing Wood, because the Good and Gracious Gods condemn wishing above all else. But when Mariposa’s father goes missing, he leaves a prophecy for her to follow.
She must enter the dark forest to find him and face the unholy creatures within.
Can Mariposa survive the challenges of the Wishing Wood—promises of beauty, temptations of wealth, feats of impossible strength—long enough to find her father, or will she be devoured by the fallen gods trapped within the trees?
In this world of generational wishing curses, enchanted midnight markets, and divine judgement, nothing is certain and no one is free.

Mahalina was a sky maiden destined for immortality in the heavens, until one brutal night cost her everything—her people slaughtered, her home burned to ash, her wings cleaved from her back and lost forever.
Left with only her scars, Mahalina wallows in a remote mountain village for years until Andreas—an exiled kingsguard—arrives. More rakish bard than soldier, Andreas is glad to be rid of the tyrant king he served, a ruler driven by religious fervor that deems all magic unholy.
The hypocritical secret of the king’s rise to power? Wish-granting feathers from a sky maiden’s wings.
Determined to reclaim her wings, Mahalina and Andreas embark on a perilous quest through sentient forests, battling malevolent creatures, outwitting pirates, sneaking into masquerades, and navigating treacherous court politics. For Andreas, it’s a chance to uproot the tyranny he witnessed for too long. For Mahalina, it’s her only hope of becoming whole and reclaiming her destiny.
But, as their bond deepens, Mahalina must choose: take back her wings and ascend to heaven, or fight for a broken world—and the man she’s come to love—even if it costs her eternity?

Lia is willing to do anything to get over the writer’s block delaying the final instalment of her mega-viral fantasy series—including take a few punches (both literal and metaphorical).
Was it a bit impulsive to sign up for a fight-intensive martial arts program to help choreograph her battle climax? Yes, especially when Coach James is a grouch with a great ass that coaches champion fighters, not fantasy writers in creative crisis—but he can’t afford to let her quit. James’ gym is failing. If he can’t drum up some business, his business is getting possessed by the bank. Like it or not, Lia’s niche stardom could bring in droves of energetic fans that want to train like “Warrior Sky Maidens.”
They enter a begrudging partnership to save her book and his business through live boxing intensives on social media, evening brainstorms over healthy dinners, and late-night writing sprints. Lia’s fans are starting to speculate they could be a couple, likening James to the famously seductive love interest in the novels—but that’s crazy right? Lia’s trying to land a punch on his perfect jaw without passing out, not kiss him.
But every writer knows that even the best laid plots are no match for characters with epic, earth-shattering chemistry.

Dani Cruz is a beautiful dancer, and she is a blood-sucking manananggal, but in order to become human she must play her part as a pawn in a war between gods.
By day, Dani works as a dancer at The Crescent, a trendy hotel on the Las Vegas strip owned by the moon goddess, Mayari (Maria Santos). By night, she is whoever Mayari needs her to be—unflinching killer, master spy, fatal seductress—forced to embrace the demonic form she despises. When Mayari’s right to rule the heavens is challenged by her brother, famous Hollywood actor and sun god Apolaki (Apollo Reyes), she gives Dani a new job: infiltrate Apolaki’s inner circle and seduce the lazy sun god out of pursuing his claim to the throne. If she does her job well, Mayari will make Dani human.
Dani thinks it will be easy to coax Apolaki back into the life of leisure he’s known for, but she finds the devilishly handsome sun god is deceptively driven, with schemes of his own on how to combine his stardom with the power of the heavens. As she warms to his charm, Dani's allegience is torn. Will she stay loyal to the goddess that’s promised to free her from her demonic form, or the god that intends to make a blood-thirsty manananggal his queen?
Set against the glittering backdrop of movie sets, casinos and strip clubs, Dani must decide what role she intends to play in this war and what it means to win—or risk the wrath of the heavens.
